When mapping out the future of BlondeHair’dGirl as a brand, I wanted to make sure that I could travel and be in the audience of any given fashion week near by. So, when I moved to Daegu, South Korea of August 2015 the plan was to attend fashion weeks in Seoul, South Korea and Tokyo, Japan; and it happened!

I have received several inquiries of how was I able to attend as a fashion blogger. Well, here is how it happened.
These are the steps I took to receive invites and press pass from the fashion weeks’ organizer.
**NOTE: these are the steps that I took, they are not the “by the book” steps, but this is what granted me access as a foreigner and fashion blogger to sit in the audience.
Research upcoming Fashion Weeks either near or far
Fill out the media/press registration
Locate the designers and schedule for the event
Select the designer/designers of your interest and send inquiring email to their designated pr(public relations)/press personnel
Wait patiently for a response from the fashion week organizer and/or the designers themselves
You may have read those steps and feel as though it is very vague. I have found that the most important thing to do is know what you are looking for within the content you want to present to your audience. Once you have discovered what information you want to put out there then selecting your designers will be a breeze!

The KEY to being selected is making your brand or company standout in your emails because these designers and pr reps can’t see your face or hear your voice they can only read your words.
So, with that being said; this was a quick overview of how to attend.
